‘Data is not data are’

Way to broadcast your stupidity. The word data is plural: the singular is ‘datum’, for an item of data.

‘Data is’ may be widely used, but is not correct.

To both of the posters who have responded in the first three spots: do you have any actual facts, data, models, or analyses to support you statements, or are they the usual fact free spasms folks like you typically spit out?

You’re a nut. This is how low you guys have sunk. We’re now cheering for big storms to avoid looking like idiots. My prediction: the storm comes, may break up a little and then — nothing. You go back to wetting your bed when you see normal ice melt at the north pole.

Temperatures at the north pole is at freezing. That didn’t happen last year during your “wobbly.” The storm came in from the opposite side last year. This year it’s hitting the thicker side. You had a hot jet stream that weathered down the ice for months last year, you didn’t have that this year.

Stop drooling. The ice not melting away is not the end of the world. Irony.
