They’re actually pretty crafty and agile. If they don’t want to gore and stomp something, they can easily avoid doing so even in cramped conditions. The Mythbusters demonstrated this in their “Bull in a China Shop” demonstration.

Before we say this is a horrible instance of animal cruelty, I’d like to say that bullfighting and bull running are the last vestiges of Minoan civilization. It was their sport and ritual sacrifice.

But even so, it’s horribly cruel. Props to Catalonia for banning most of this stuff.

Note to self, never move there, the insurance premiums would be astronomical. Worse yet you’d be living in the same town as the people who think this is a good idea!
