It would appear that the Feds has plenty of authority to go after this type of activity and have no need of SOPA or PIPA. I suspect that their competitors like Rapidshare, Hotfile, Fileserve, etc. will be deleting files like crazy so go get ’em while the getting is good.

If SOPA/PIPA goes through, I won’t be seeing any and the entertainment industry will lose more money. That is another way to protest, IMO. Of course, this would mean “Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie”, because it will be the day the music dies too.
