I wouldn’t get your hopes up in that regard. For all the sound and fury I think the R candidate for 2012 will almost certainly (85% sure?) eventually be Mitt Romney. Which given he’s the second most moderate candidate or so I gather is probably notsucha bad thing. Just imagine if Michelle Bachmann actually won vs Romney winning the presidency if the economy goes really sour(er) and Obama loses.
