This just brings back all of the emotion of the Robert Dziekanski death at Vancouver Int'l Airport from multiple tazings. The BC Gov't ordered an inquiry and the result was that tasers can kill. Taser Int'l(the manufacturer) appealed the findings, but no cigar. We got stricter taser rules after that.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2010/08/10/bc-taser-international.html

Taser Int'l also tried to claim that the victim was suffering from "excited delirium", a term unknown to medical science. I wish the Braidwood Inquiry results were taken to heart in far more jurisdictions, because we still keep hearing horrific taser stories about children and the elderly being tased. Tasers need to be used only as a last resort.

I thought the whole point of the taser was that being tasered just once was enough to take you out and make you no longer a threat so why was this person tasered more than once?
