We don’t really have that problem in America … like they have over in England.

The term “America” never means Canada, US and Mexico. It means one of two things (other than the rock band): The United States of America or The Americas (meaning north, central, and south) though the latter is actually rare and perhaps is more often “The Americas” or the “New World.”

Had Canada been the United Canadian Provinces of America or something, we’d have a problem.

The bigger problem is that this is just a symptom. Anyone who listens to public radio on the way to work, reads a newspaper or watches a credible news program would have more information than these candidates. They are simply not engaged with current events, they have focused on marketing slogans and petty trash talking the president.

It isn’t enough to run against the other guy you have to tun for something.
