Yes, this means we have to endure long periods of having people like Thomas on the bench. But Thurgood Marshall was there a long time too. The last thing we need is the chaos short-term justices would cause.

Don’t like the current justices? Get your ass to the polls. Remember: If you didn’t vote, you can’t bitch.
