On the positive side, Leinster won the Heinekin Cup Final, coming back from 22-6 down at half-time to finish 22-33 up.

So maybe the dog likes Rugby after all….?

True, he says, believers got some of the details wrong. But the thrust of the message is right.

they may wear baseball caps and eat fast food but they are in all their mental aspects not modern and so rapture to them is well in the realm of the possible.

I’m pretty certain that isn’t what you meant.

I thought about making that more obvious but chose not to. Since it’s a short essay I allow for a certain amount of context. After all, I’m the guy who wrote this: http://tinyurl.com/3bvyr49 which is, of course, totally extreme the other way (yet largely correct).

I still subscribe to the possibility that the rapture really did happen, but the number of people who were worthy was so small that no one noticed.

Over on Facebook we are exploring the possibility that the rapture worked along time zones, that there was a quota, and that the quota, set in the bronze age when there were not too many people around, was totally filled in the island nation of Kiribati.

I think I’ll blow off work tomorrow just to make ’em wonder.

Can you manage to sneak a pair of shoes with dry ice in them under your desk, or wherever, at work?
