Most glock mags come in 10 rounds and 15 rounds except for the 9mm which comes in 17 rounds. Only springfield makes a 19 round factory clip for their 9mm.

Even modern 45 caliber handguns come in 8 round clips with the exception of one or two aftermarket clips that hold 10 rounds of 45 ACP. Of course the shooter could have had a clip extender which you can buy anywhere online as an aftermarket accesory. At any rate Bill Clinton tried to ban high capacity clips, but that ban ended and Bush let it stay ended. That being said and having a secualr oppressive president, I feel like there might be an explosion in high capacity clip sales now. An action to take before another ban might occur.

Even shotguns now can be fitted for 12 round drums. Imagine a 12 guage shotgun with a 12 round drum. Firing 3 inch shells with #4 buckshot with each shell holding 41 pellets, that’s practically 492 bullets in less than five seconds. Even if you use 00 buck that’s still 180 thrity caliber bullets in less than five seconds. Putting the proper choke tube in, you could potentially hit targets in a huge range. So, that being said, shotguns are much more deadlier in an attack than a handgun.

The congresswoman survived becuase of a number of things. First, the 9mm bullet was an ordinary full metal jacket, not a bonded hollow point or fragmented HP. If he had been packing Winchester PDX1 bullets or Hornady Critical Defense or Speer Gold Dot or Corbon DPX, it would have been over that instant. Second it happened to hit in just the right place and exit. Right now the DPX is the deadliest bullet available. It can smash through auto glass, wood barriers, light sheet metal, and still expand in bone. It is wicked evil. Even a weak small bullet like the 9mm or its little brother the 380 can be killers with the DPX bullet.
Third, it was not a 40 or 45. If it were she would not have survived. A friend of mine is an emergency room doctor. He once told me that he has saved numerous people from 9mm gunshot wounds to the chest. He has NEVER saved anyone with a 45 wound to the chest or head. Also, he has never saved anyone from a 40 caliber wound.

This shooter was angry and bitte and nutty, but dumb. I hope the congresswoman recovers and I hope this idiot gets life or more.
