A lake called Mille Lacs is pronounced “Millax” (the place you get your grain ground followed by the tool you use to cut wood). A lake called “Lac l’homme deaux’ is pronounced “Lake Lahamadoo” rhymes with “Rake obama poo”

(Which would be a reference to the White House Dog, of course.)

So I’m sure we pronounce Kluwe rong, if he’s from round these parts .
