THANK YOU!!! I just got in (it’s 11:30 PM) from a day of travel and the opening events of a conference here in DC, and found your birthday wish. You are a kind person to take the time to write such nice things about me and NCSE.

I’ve been joking that I’m officially old today (65), but actually, other than not being able to run or swim as far, and taking a lot more stretches to feel limber, I’m hanging in there OK. And so are you, I notice!

A Genie Scott makes an appearance in James ‘The Amazing’ Randi’s book The Faith Healers. I’m not positive, but the odds are it’s the same Genie Scott.
