Yes, it’s good to make sure everyone gets this. For the record, my “reformed” was a typo, not a lack of understanding of the religion of my in-laws.

No, they aren’t “reformed” in relationship to “evolution and stuff” – reform and conservative Jews have never been creationists, and have thus never had to undergo any kind of reform in that regard.
