I suspect that the “introduction” is a bit like a text version of a Gish Gallop, dancing from topic to topic, making a claim in half a sentence that would take pages to properly address and soundly refute. All refutable claims, but such a scattershot load that something is bound to get past most people’s areas of expertise.

It would be nice to have a copy, stuffed with notes, thickening the 50 pages to whatever is needed to demonstrate to even the most faithful reader that while Ignorance may be Bliss, Deceit is Comfort.
