It is home to ORU after all. In fact that’s where Michele Bachmann got her JD. ORU had long since sold off their school to Regents, I think.

Bill “dumber-than-a-bag-of-doorknobs” LaFortune one of Tulsa’s recent past mayors, approved of a creationist display at the Tulsa Zoo in 2005. The real culprit was a creationist Dan Hicks who’d been trying for years to get creationize the zoo.

Thanks for the story, I’ll be sure to tell my friends back in Tulsa to not vote for this creationist moron.
