I love it when neo-cons call non neo-cons "liberals". As if there are only 2 types of people and only 2 ways of thinking about politics. Frankly, I don't take it as an insult at all. Liberal means generous (similarly, conservative means stingy). Think of the most kind, loving people you can (ummm... Jesus comes to mind). They were more liberal than not. If one donates to a charity, doesn't that make them "liberal"? It cracks me up when I hear "you liberal" because they have no clue what it means, or at the very least they are making up their own meaning that isn't translating very well.

inhumataq @ #7:

"UM...Ben Franklin is looking down on us from heaven?"

Yes. Specifically, he's looking down the front of women's blouses from heaven.

@Spiff, if as you say liberalism is a mental disorder, then so is conservatism.

Saying you didn't call anyone a name is a pathetic sidestep. If you're going to say something that would generally be considered an insult, at least stand by it.

I didn't call anybody a name, I just made a observation to a behavioral pattern.

Also, fighting on the internet is like participating in the Special Olympics. Even if you win you are still a retard.

Now that is calling someone a name.

Why would anyone want to cut military spending. She just thinks it's unjust to levy taxes to pay for it, that's all.

The problem with trying to play by someone else's rules, Spiff, is that you'll frequently miss the subtleties.
