Hello from Ukraine !

Well I’m not a Mail Order Bride, but 3 of my friends now are, and I’m not against the notion.

Many Western men come here looking for such, especially Kiev and Odessa.

My 3 friends have all moved abroad to their mens countries [USA,Poland & Austria] and they are happy, I know 1 girl who was abused a few years ago by a Western man she began relations with, so, its those swings and roundabouts.

As to the reasons WHY so many FSU women seek the foreign husband, and other way round ? Well, that might be simple to explain but, I think it because of a complex set of reasons, and not simple at all.

I enjoyed very much reading this topic, so, I want say you well done for the good writing.

Interesting, your comment on possible interactions between Neandertals and “moderns”. In one of my novels(admittedly they’re all science fiction), this is the scenario. But the N’s in my novels are pretty “civilized” in their own way. . .

The Africans sound so much more civilized than us folk in the USA. It wasn’t that long ago that inter-racial marriage was considered a crime in many areas.

Grrlscientist noticed the ads and they seem to have angered her. I never saw the ads since other sites really annoyed me and I installed Adblock+ last week.

This reminds me of good ol’ “Russian Whore Night” at a famous local bar, now defunct.

The Russian/Czech/Bosnian/etc women and the mail order brides would come to this bar and meet in the hopes of upping it to a guy with more money than the guy they were with at the time. Many of them were very sneaky, very whorish, and all of them were gold diggers who already had husbands. They were actively engaging in cuckoldry at the highest level–these were not women to pity, but to fear.

The funny thing is, in terms of cultural capital–beauty–they were always one up on any man they were with, and so I don’t think gene stealing was the ultimate goal. Power, money, and fame were what many were after, but at the end of the night many of them went home together, or with another ‘poor disadvantaged woman.’ Those fucke….er…those lickers!
