In other news, at least 1500 farmers in India have committed suicide in a grisly way by drinking insecticide as their economic situation worsens. Some estimates go as high as 125000. And of course that leaves their families even worse off.

However, the number of suicides seems to be dropping. Is there no way to help these people?
