I saw Pink Floyd in 1973, at a concert in St. Louis, MO. At that time their light show wasn't quite as elaborate as in this video!

My favorite Pink Floyd album back then was Ummagumma.

The Wall was released when I was but 14 years old, and it had a big influence on my musical tastes, and my “insubordinate” ways. I recall my civics teacher at the time (who also happened to be an old family friend) asking me if I really liked "that stuff" (I think he had only heard the songs that made the radio airplay lists). I told him that he really should listen to the entire album to get an idea of why I liked it. I don't think he ever did though. That aside, he was a wonderful teacher, as were many others that taught me in public school.
