Mr. Howard is visiting his buddy GWB in DC, and is staying in Blair House while he does so. This is why our man Barack and his family are having to stay in a hotel for over a week.

If Bush and Co. had any ability to plan for the future (which, of course, they have many times proved they have not) they would not have allowed anyone to book into Blair House when they knew the presidential transition would be under way.
