I bought a few XOs through G1G1. Though I (grudgingly) use Windows at work (as well as Linux and a other Unices), I cannot fathom why anyone would want to put Windows bloatware on an XO. (Last month, we were able to mesh network XOs between my 23yo son, his partner, my 9yo nephew, and me. A good time was had by all.)

I'm disappointed that the XO is now going to support Windows--I don't see the advantage of the OLPC project over cheap commercial laptops at this point, if Windows is the OS. There are already comparable commercially available laptops now (ULPCs), like the ASUS Eee PC, which is why Intel pulled out of OLPC.I have an XO (running Sugar), no yellow crank, via the give one, get one program. It is a very cool device, but I haven't yet had the opportunity to connect it to other XOs.
