A charismatic population going extinct and it&#039;s not due to AGW?All kidding aside, I do wish we&#039;d have our attention drawn to stuff that is alarming and that actually deserves our alarm. Human impacts are destroying habitat at a breakneck pace and it&#039;s not due to the potential of a couple of inches of sealevel rise over the next century, or a shift in the boreal forest or glacial forelands, but increased human numbers doing all that they can to satisfy their cultural and material desires the old and immediate ways.]]></description>
