I have known of Tim Russert since I was a little girl, the reason was because when I came home from Sunday School my father was glued to the TV watching this intelligent man. When I first heard about this tragic loss I said to my father, who is now 81 , " What are you going to do on Sunday Mornings and the response was I am going to miss this intelligent journalist who made me a better lobbyist, a state representative and a better person." I then asked what will you miss most about Tim and my father said, a politician himself, " I will miss a man that loved his family, loved his profession and a man who was so comitted to a job that he will miss probably one of the best elections in history. But happy that he spent his last days seeing a son he loved graduate and spending time in Italy". And that is the impression Tim has left on America and what a tragic loss this is, not only for my father who is 81, but a daughter who is 41. God Bless Tim and his family !!
