Though I haven&#039;t done research on the subject, I also think it&#039;s interesting to note (judging from the picture above) other genes seem to have been turned back on. Such as shinier, more silver looking skin/scales, and an eye-spot on the tail. Both of which would have no use in total darkness but act as camouflage or a distraction to predators in the light.]]></description>
