Florida Dodges the Bullet

Eric Smith, not Cheri Yecke, has been chosen for Florida’s new education commissioner. We don’t know anything about Eric Smith, but we do know something about Cheri Yecke, and I think Florida has probably made the right decision.

Let us hope the voters decided this for educational reasons and not purely on the basis of the names.
