Earth II

Scientists working with the Spitzer Space Telescope have identified an Earth-like planet being formed as we speak. Just in time, becuse the one we are using is getting pretty messed up. Check out this report in Bad Astronomy, to find out when and how we can move to this new home.

Extra Pair Sex

Elder birds get more extra pair reproductive opportunities, according to recent work summarized here by Matt at Behavioral Ecology Blog.
