Charles L. Black Jr.’s classic guide to presidential impeachment, now in an updated edition with new material by Philip Bobbitt

Originally published at the height of the Watergate crisis and reissued in 1998, two months before the second impeachment of a U.S. president, Charles Black’s Impeachment became the premier guide to the subject of presidential impeachment. Now thoroughly updated, it is essential reading for every concerned citizen.

Praise for earlier editions of Impeachment:

“The most important book ever written on presidential impeachment.”—Lawfare

“A model of how so serious an act of state should be approached.”—Wall Street Journal

“The best essay written on the subject.”—Jeffrey Rosen, New Republic

“A citizen’s guide to impeachment. . . . Elegantly written, lucid, intelligent, and comprehensive.”—Mary Ann Gale, New York Times Book Review

  1. Like all of the other Maoist bots, the author
of this site is calling for the peachment of The
    Donald.

More votes for the Freedom Party.

    1. Any thinking person would impeach this disgrace to the office.

I doubt that the toadying lickspittle sycophants in the Senate would vote to impeach before 2020, but that doesn’t matter because regardless of the outcome of any impeachent attempt Trump will be caught at some point:

Trump may well get a lovely pair of silver bracelets joined with a chain when he takes the last walk out of the White House.

    2. Anyone want to list who wasn’t a disgrace to the office, never mind a disgrace as a human being with at least some power to get things done and a really big platform to raise any issue they choose? A bloke can easily reel off 50 issues in an hour at the lecturn.

  2. “Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz said Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former attorney, is “pleading guilty to a crime that doesn’t exist” to further Democrats’ plans to impeach the president.”

Was he your professor when you went to Har Vard, GL.?

Heinrich Meuller, knows now to work the system. Meet the real blokie.
