  1. I had an hour long ride in the Goodyear blimp once – back in the early 80s – when the crew were staying at the hotel I worked at. It was quite a lot of fun. Noisy as hell though. Yes they should be all electric – The weight difference might be significant – electric engines are much smaller and lighter, batteries and diesel (6.9 lb/US gallon) might cancel each other out
