The Face of American Terrorists

Spread the love

These are the faces of all of the American Terrorists known since 9/11, with Shelly Shannon standing in for the killing of an abortion doctor (who’s killer was not found … but Shelly attacked the same clinic years earlier). Missing are mainly Earth and/or Animal liberation front members who are mostly white guys in their 20s or 30s. How many can you name?

  1. Tris, this list is from Wikipedia. I assumed that that would be a reasonable source and it’s transparent. I think Laughner would count by the criteria generally used there. I assume he is not there because he’s not been convicted yet.

Also not on the list are a number of individuals who have been caught in what most would consider terrorism but perhaps the charges did not go that way due to plea bargaining. ALF/ELF kids mostly.

  2. I can name two. I keep up with issues but pics of the people involved don’t matter to me.

  3. You don’t have to name them. You just have to go “The guy who did this” or “The guy who did that”

I’ll give you a couple of hints.

One committed suicide while under investigation. Two worked together and that involved a car. One carried out his terrorist act in a museum.

  4. Let’s see, you’ve got the Beltway Snipers, the guy who shot up the museum, the one who crashed his plane into the IRS building, the one who shot up a military base, the one who attacked a Unitarian Church and and George Tiller I think, but I can’t place the rest of them.

  5. I thought anthrax guy was determined to almost certainly be innocent? Or at least it was impossible to really pin it on him…

Part of my family actually knew him. He lived next to my grandparents in the 70s (if I recall correctly) while my grandfather was stationed at Fort Detrick(where Bruce Ivins AKA Anthrax Guy worked). He was apparently a pretty nice guy.
