  1. Then what? Is this just proof of concept? They can’t exactly be releasing mammoths back into the wild. Even if they did there’d be wingnuts, red-necks, and poachers behind every tundra hummock waiting for a chance to get a trophy.

  2. Even if they had to be kept in zoos, this would be very interesting. It probably won’t work, but it’d be a big deal if it did.

  3. If someone succeeded in cloning a mammoth I would probably wet my pants with excitement.

    If someone cloned a dinosaur I would just die of happiness.
