“In order to ensure our future survival, we are forced to suspend all publishing operations to direct all our resources to fighting the blockade and raising funds”.

  1. Hmm. If they aren’t doing the job people donate to them for, it seems to me likely the donors won’t keep donating, regardless of the capacity to do so.
    If they don’t restart publication fast, I doubt they ever will.

  2. I haven’t kept up, but if their operations are being blocked and no publications are available anyway then it does seem kinda silly to devote resources to publication. Putting the carriage before the horse, as it were.

  3. There is tons and tons of stuff to publish, they are backed up all the way to the moon basically.

    However ultimately intelligent people must realize that they are being attacked from a variety of angles and that if you think you perceive failure on their part you should first consider if you could ever do any better. Because the answer is no. They deserve our full support, because if they can’t do it no one can and it will never get done.

    However I do find it hard to believe that they are getting less donations now than they were when they started, when they were capable of publishing then. However they costs have risen dramatically I suppose, what with all the legal stuff.
