The first step required to recall Wisconsin Republican Senator D. Kapanke has been completed; A petition with sufficient signatures to require a recall election has been filed. Challenges mus be filed over the next 10 days. If there remain enough valid signatures, the recall election is required.

Hooray! I hope the Dems don’t split the vote and put another GOP in office. They need to THINK about who they want to run THIS TIME!
Kapanke will not be alone. I wouldn’t be surprised if all 8 eligible senators face recall elections. Some are pretty safe in heavily GOP districts, but four, maybe five of them are not.
There are Facebook groups for many of the Wisconsin Recall groups.
