  1. Doesn’t he know women evolved distance running ability to avoid rape?

    Being serious, I think his idea of barefoot running is fine if you are running on the beach. Pretty much anywhere else you better have some kind of protection against sharp rocks, even the Tarahumara he kept citing wear huaraches. I am a big believer that much running injury is related to road running, the constant unchanging surface and hard impact. I wonder if he is falsely attributing this problem to running shoes. Trail running, with shoes on thank you very much, is my solution.
