  1. I forgot how annoying this illusion is. In the example given here it is even worse because you can always look at the base to see how it is actually rotating. The Ames’s Window is an excellent example of how difficult getting decent 3-D data from 2-D info is.

  2. That’s the first time I’ve seen this. Very cool. Has anyone worked this into a computer game yet? Could be very annoying in a fps.
