That’s why anyone who is familiar with Unix/Linux aliases rm -rf to rm -rfi. And some of us actually write scripts to have rm -rf move the files to a ‘trash’ folder from which we can recover if someone was stupid enough to keep hitting ‘y’ to delete the main file structure.
