  1. And, anyway, it’s not true.

    You can take from others for you own gain, and give nothing back, and still succeed. All you have to do is to trick them into thinking that you are giving them something of equal value, or into thinking it’s not your fault.

    Politicians, faith healers, televangelists and other Creatures from Under the Rocks do this all the time.

    In fact, this idea of Karma, or any of its imitations, is probably one of the ways they manage to come out on top.

  3. Well, we certainly make every effort to make it true.

    However, there’s nothing to indicate that this goes beyond social self-regulation to actual karmic retribution.
